1″ Large Overflow/Inlet Screen

Keep snails, fish, or other unwanted critters from entering your aquariums drain or return plumbing. The custom design allows it to slip directly over 1″ PVC pipe making it super easy to incorporate into your tanks drain system or onto the inlet of your return pump. Many overflows are attributed to clogged drains, where an animal, algae, or other build-up can cause the flow down the drain to become slow or even stop in some instances. Barr Aquatics Screens are made to be removed with minimal effort from your aquariums plumbing for quick maintenance and to last a lifetime.

Three Sizes

Small – Ideal for standard size return pumps and drains. The small form-factor makes it easy to fit into tight areas. 

Medium – Works great with most overflows and return pumps. Recommended for most tanks 50 gallons or larger. 

Large – Perfect for large return pumps or full-length overflow plumbing. 

 

How Do They Connect?

For most uses, just sliding the strainer over your 1″ PVC will give a snug fit but if a more permanent solution is required, it is recommended to use aquarium silicone to adhere the Overflow/Inlet Screens to 1″ PVC.
