Frag Size: 1/2 – 3/4 inch frag
Placement: Secure your new coral by utilizing IC gel glue, putty, or a combination of both. Position the coral on a rock or ledge where it will receive direct lighting and ample water flow, crucial for its growth and health.
Feeding: At Memoreefs, we recommend nourishing hard corals with a varied diet including Zooplanktons, Phytoplanktons, Amino Acids, and other Organic Proteins. A daily broadcast feeding regime with the return and circulations pumps off will ensure the corals receive the necessary nutrients for thriving.
Lighting & Flow: Hard corals necessitate high water flow and high lighting to preserve their vibrant coloration. Whether utilizing T5’s, Metal Halides, or LED’s, achieving the proper PAR levels is essential. A color spectrum of 14-20K is recommended for the best coloration.
