The Sump

The Reef Filtration Series sump comes with all the bells and whistles– from dedicated compartements to adjustable baffles, silencing lids, water level indicators, cord management, dosing line fittings, and more. It’s constructed from reinforced, double-walled acrylic and finished with noise-reducing polycarbonate compartement lids. It features a triple redundancy drain system, ensuring additional safety and peace of mind. On both the front and side filtration compartment walls, you’ll find laser-etched indicators measuring water level. The filtration compartment itself can accomodate 4″ filter socks and comes stocked with filter media cups, including silencing lids and high-performance fiber ball media. The protein skimmer chamber features an adjustable water height baffle, as well as a noise-reducing lid with a 7.5″ diameter cutout to fit snugly around your skimmer. Additional touches include a LED light bracket specifically designed to hold the Chaetomax Refugium LED (sold separately), RODI fittings for attaching dosing lines, all-black adhesive cord holder for sleek cable management, and a dedicated vertical heater compartment.
