Osmocote root tabs are nutrient rich tablets which are intended to be placed in the substrate of a planted freshwater aquarium. They will provide a long-lasting nutrient source essential for healthy plant growth.

Instructions: Insert tabs as deep as you can in the substrate next to plant roots. Replace every 4-6 months or as needed. In order to avoid sudden ammonia spikes, the plant food should not come in direct contact with water. The capsules will protect plant food from water for a short time before they melt, but long enough to allow you to bury them deep in the substrate. Use one tab every 6 or more inches. If you notice any plant food coming out of the substrate, remove from the tank.
