Kh Buffer (5 kg) – Aquaforest

Aquaforest KH Buffer is useful for maintaining constant carbonate hardness levels in reef aquariums, helping to keep pH and other water parameters stable.

It is recommended to keep a KH level of 6.5-8.5 dKH in reef aquaria. Do not attempt to raise dKH by more than 0.5 dKH per day.

Instructions for Use:

Precise dosage should be determined by your water test results and corals’ daily consumption. Before applying KH Buffer solution into the water, it is recommended to run a water test to check current water parameters.

Dissolve 80 g of KH Buffer per 1000 ml RODI water.

100 ml of KH Buffer solution will raise KH level by 2.6 dKH in 100 l (27 US gal) of water.

The product is also suitable for casual use for one-time KH level raising. 10 g of KH Buffer in 100 l of water raises the KH level by about 3.3 dKH (Alk. 1.18 meg/l). It is not recommended to raise the KH level by more than 0.5 dKH per day.
